Dorothy C. Huettl, 1935-2022 Dorothy C. Huettl, 87, passed away on April 11, 2022 after a brief illness. Dorothy was born on March 30, 1935 to Dorothy (Modeshefsky) and Victor Babiak in Bayonne, NJ. After graduating from Bayonne High School she worked as a secretary and switchboard operator at the Western Electric Company Kearny Works in Kearny, NJ where she met her future husband, Arthur L. Huettl. Dorothy and Arthur were married in 1961 and were lifelong NJ residents, creating loving homes in Bayonne, Cranford and finally Summit, NJ. They were married for over fifty-six years and had two children, Eric and David. Dorothy was a fiercely dedicated mom, raising two sons with whom she stressed the importance of education. Family was above all else to Dorothy, a value she instilled in those around her. The hole left by her absence will be impossible to fill. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Arthur L. Huettl, sister Joan Ferrara and brother Robert Babiak. She is survived by her son Eric A. Huettl, MD and his wife Claudette Huettl, MD, son David L. Huettl, Esq. and his partner Tatiana Goodlett, and one grandson, Jordan, along with many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Monday, April 25, 2022, 10:00 AM followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Lafayette Hill, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Dorothy C. Huettl to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
