Ella Lorraine Molinski

February 25, 2021

Ella Lorraine Molinski, 93, Toms River, NJ died peacefully in her sleep Thursday, February 25, 2021. Born July 28, 1927 as Ella Lorraine 'Rainey' Nolan, the youngest of eleven children, Ella lived most of her life in Bloomfield NJ and part of her retirement in Newfane, Vermont. She was married to Raymond Molinski Sr. for fifty years before his passing in 1999. She was happiest spending time with her three children, six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She worked for Bell Telephone all of her career and retired after 30 years. She was a Girl Scout Leader in Bloomfield, volunteered with her husband in Vermont with various church groups, and she also volunteered for Meals on Wheels during her retirement in Vermont. Over the course of her life she enjoyed adopting animals, bird watching, quilting, crocheting, traveling, gardening, spending time with her friends and family, and living in Vermont. Ella’s feisty and quirky personality, unconditional love for her family, superb laugh, and stories will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Ella was predeceased by both of her parents, Harry and Ethel (nee McComb), all of her siblings, her husband, Raymond Molinski (1999), and her daughter Joan Molinski (2018). She is survived by her two of her adult children and spouses, Elizabeth (Tony) Devecka of NJ and Raymond (Lynn) Molinski Jr. of NJ; six grandchildren, Edward Regelski Jr. (Liz Dering) of NJ, Kimberly (Timothy) Campolattaro of SC, and Carrie (Michael) McHugh of FL, Anthony Devecka of NJ, Amy Devecka of NJ, and Matthew (Valerie) Devecka of NJ; thirteen great-grandchildren, Patrick, Kayla, Michael, Aidan, Mavrick, Juliana, Tyson, Brody, Ella, Emersyn, Brooklyn, Tessa and Jasmine and many nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Her family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Bayada Hospice and Spring Oaks Assisted Living Center for caring deeply for Ella’s overall well-being in both living and dying. If anyone would like to make a donation in Ella's honor, please choose your favorite charity or a local food bank. Thank you!
