On November 1, 2021 God, in His infinite wisdom, bought George Mosley home to rest. George was born on May 28, 1929 to Jessie and Catherine Mosley. Although George had an elementary education, he successfully established, owned, and operated G&E Mosley Sanitary Septic Service for over 35 years. Around 1955 George moved to South Toms River, New Jersey with his wife, Mozella, where they raised a large extended family. George was a faithful member of Wells Chapel AME Church. While there George was a member of the Trustee Board. He also sang in the Men’s Choir. George always made sure that the church was on good financial ground out of his own pocket. George was a member of the Lakewood Masonic Lodge. He was also one of the founding members of the Manitou Park Volunteer Fire Department. George was predeceased by his parents and all of his siblings. He was also predeceased by daughters, Jacquelyn Mosley Stokes, Georgette Mosley and an infant son. In addition, he was predeceased by four grandsons and three great granddaughters. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Porter (Jim), Eva Richardson, Joe Ann Mosely, Frankie Worthy (Mark), Rebecca Stokes (Robert), Linda Simpson and two sons, Vincent Brown (Alita) and David Mosley, nineteen grandchildren, thirty-six grand grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Viewing hours from 11:00AM-12:00PM on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the funeral home followed by a funeral service at 12:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
