Jacqueline Dee Hoff

Jacqueline Dee Hoff of Whiting, NJ died peacefully at home with her family by her side at the age of 84 on April 2, 2022 . She was born in Sharon, PA on December 17, 1937 to David and Helen Routman. Later after her mother passed away, her father married Fannie Pearlman. Jackie graduated from Sharon High School in Sharon, PA. in 1954. She attended Ohio State University in Columbus, before moving to New York while working for Capital Airlines which later merged with United Airlines. It was while working for Capital Airlines that Jackie met her husband, Saul Hoff, who also worked for Capital Airlines. Jackie is predeceased by both of her parents and stepmom. She is survived by many loving relatives – one sister, Roberta Dymond (Ross) of Montgomery Village, MD; stepbrother Barry Pearlman of Sharon, PA; stepsister Lois Brown (Arnie) of New Milford, NJ; her husband of 63 years, Saul Hoff; and three children, Nadine Guzman of Metuchen, NJ; Vicki Hranj of Freehold, NJ; and Bradley Hoff of South Amboy, NJ. Jackie is also survived by 6 adoring grandchildren, Brianna Gutierrez, Gabriela Gutierrez, Kayla Hranj, Kevin Hranj, Michael Hoff and Ryan Hoff. Jackie was a joyful, caring, fun loving person who was always enjoyable to be around. She loved her family and friends dearly and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading and playing mah-jongg. While living in Brooklyn, she worked in the store that Saul and she owned. She was a great salesperson and later sold carpeting, bedding and costume jewelry. Viewing will be at Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals Monday, April 11, 2022 from 11a.m. – 12 noon 66 Lacey Rd.
