Joseph Orosz, 70, of Toms River, passed away on January 26, 2022. Joe was from Sarospatak, Hungary, but migrated to America, where he grew up in Fords, New Jersey before eventually settling down in Toms River, NJ. Joe was a retired Union Pipefitter/Plumber through Local No. 9. He is remembered as being a hard-worker that liked to lighten the mood and have a few laughs throughout the work day. Joe was family-oriented and a free-thinker. Joe believed that life was short and he wanted to live it freely. Joe was a lover of plants, nature and all it’s blessings. In his retirement years, Joe kept busy as a backyard inventor, garage entrepreneur and an avid writer. Joe was predeceased by his father and mother, John and Elizabeth Orosz, his brother Stephen Orosz, as well as his daughter, Nadine Orosz. Surviving are his loving wife, Susan Orosz, daughter Lorraine Orosz of Fords, son Colt and wife Twyla Orosz of Bayville, brother John and wife Mary Orosz of York, PA, sister Irene Starnes of Edison, brother Charlie and wife Theresa Orosz of Fords. A memorial service has been arranged for February 20, 2022 at 1pm at the Magyar “Hungarian” Reformed Church located at 331 Kirkland Pl, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. http://www.mrchurchnj.org/
