Marcia Pomponio, 70, of Toms River, passed away on May 3, 2022. Marcia was born on January 23, 1952 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Salvatore and Frances (nee: Carlton) Ramo. Marcia enjoyed spending time at the beach and the boardwalk with her family, and always having Maruca’s pizza, she loved going to NYC to see Broadway plays, the movies, shopping, dancing and singing, especially to 50’s oldies classics, she loved to take vacations and wanted to travel the world, enjoy life and was always smiling and laughing. Marcia worked as a bank teller and then became a hairdresser. Marcia also worked as a driver for senior citizens, which she loved very much because of her Father being a bus driver in Jersey City. Marcia enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Marcia is preceded in death by her parents Salvatore and Frances, and her brother George Ramo. Surviving Marcia is her sister Ann Hoth of Toms River, NJ, her daughter Leann, son in law Andrew and granddaughter Lily of Alexandria, VA, son Kyle of Tinton Falls, NJ. Niece Katrina, grand nephew Gavin of Toms River. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, May 5 from 4-8 PM at the Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, May 6 at 10 AM at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, 685 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ 08753.
